Haaa you're killing me. Yea I'm the Bozo, but let's face it this place is pretty AARP convention without some level of excitement.
You sky jockeys are all a like. Opinionated a$$ clowns that think you know it all. Well at least I've never dropped my 5er on the bed of my truck.
For what it's worth I have had a class A non comm license for 3 years, and CAT scale tickets on everything I own and I've never put a combination of truck and trailer together that is not legal. Can you say that? Probably not, but you're a pilot so it's OK.
I seem to recall you're trailer is over 15,000 pounds, do you have your class A non comm? Of course not, you're a highly educated pilot and don't need to play by the rules the rest of us minions need to adhere to.
Some people cant get over the fact they were fooled. Guess he cant face the fact.:R

Of course, maybe it would simply be more appropriate to bring your concerns up in an ATVing forum rather than in an RVing forum. There are lots of ATV-devoted forums out there (search for "ATV forum" with your favorite search engine).

Whats not appropriate about discussing it here in the "Toy Hauler" Section? Its where this type of thing belongs. Its what we do and about where we go.
I have to agree with Quadhauler and others who don't think it should have been closed like that. We should be allowed to discuss this here and if one bad apple tries to ruin it then delete them or their post and let the topic continue.

Just curious if you've considered a dirtbike instead? Although my DW thinks quads are safer, I disagree.
I ride an atv and my son rides the dirtbike. Wish I had learned to ride a bike at an earlier age.
Your never to old. I am turning 40 this year and bought my first bike last season. Sold my quad shortly after :C
I would prefer my whole family rode 2 wheels but I wont force it on any of them. If they want 2 they will get one if not then they can keep their quad.

That is a good start. My youngest started on a 50 and never rode it, now that she moved up to the 90 she rides all the time. Turns out the 50 was boring because it was too slow. The most important things are safety gear and teaching them the right thing.

We had to do the same thing New Years weekend. The group behind us left a bunch of trash behind including carpet. One of the guys in our group caught the last guy leaving there and said something. The guy didn't care and even threw out more trash while driving away. We reported this to the rangers with pics but they said there was nothing they could do. That same group was shooting fireworks at people up on the hill near them hitting a woman in out group. Of course they denied it and not wanting to start a brawl we left it at that. Its people like that that ruin it for all of us.

Well the doggies are gone. My kids were sad but the owner and dogs were happy. I did mention to him about updating the info on the chip and he is going to look into it. Once I saw the owner I remembered seeing him driving around out there. We passed him on the way to our destination and again on the way back to camp but had not seen the dogs yet. On the way back we passed him about 10 or 15 min before I saw the dogs. Too bad I didn't know he was looking for them. I sure hope I never loose my dogs because I know its got to be tough but maybe someone will find them and return them.

Just got back from the Vet and the Weimaraner is chipped. His name is Dakota. His chip is reg to a Vet in Sacramento. They contacted the original owner who gave him to a new owner. The original owner only has an email address for the new owner so he was emailed. Hopefully he hasn't changed his email. Were just waiting for a contact now.
